Working Bee

Gorge Working Bee.

The Gorge relies on a lot of volunteer help to keep the bike park humming.

The day will start at 8.30an with a quick briefing so that everyone knows the plan. 

At the end of the day, The Gorge will supply a simple BBQ and refreshments.

The tasks are varied:- from fixing trail issues, checking for storm damage, building shelters, and mending roads and infrastructure.

What to bring on a working be day:

• Footwear suitable for walking and working on steep terrain

• A packed lunch (unless told that the Gorge are supplying it)

• A backpack- to carry lunch and some tools

• Water

• Clothing appropriate for the day

• Trail forks loaded on to your phone-this is how we report trail issues.

We aim to have a free riding day for all Gorge volunteers during the summer.
